MEDIA AGENCY RISING STAR According to his LinkedIn profile, Lopes has worked across a number of blue chip pieces of business as a media strategist in some of the most prolific media agencies, including Mindshare, Starcom MediaVest Group, OMD and now Carat. “I have often been called to stretch myself and my skills further than what the job description entailed and deliver solutions that drive clients’ business,” he wrote. OMD managing director Marco Santos worked closely with Lopes during his time at the agency. He describes Lopes as a unique individual driven by both passion and innovation. “I referred to him as our progressive thinker! Ricardo definitely fits within the category of rising star as he still has new heights to achieve but is ultimately on the right path. Within our business, Ricardo progressed successfully through multiple ranks and most recently held the strategy and digital director role. Lopes started with Carat just over a week ago, and in his new role is overseeing the business of brands such as Heineken, and Land Rover. He also worked on the client side of media, as assistant manager for media and marketing operations for the Asia-Pacific region for the Kellogg Company. “Ricardo is a young man going places!
