Out of Home Category This category has been a monster since 2009. This has always been the biggest category with more companies listed than any other category. This year there were 25 out of home companies competing for the MOST Awards title of Best Out of Home Media Owner Sales Team. This year’s winner is a relative newcomer to the MOST Awards and one that has not previously focused on the South African market. However, its dominant ranking as the best in the Media Owner Africa category last year gave a strong hint that this company is not one to be taken lightly. The winner of the out of home category in 2018 is Alliance Media, with last year’s overall media owner winner Massiv Media and Ad Outpost taking the second and third places respectively. Out of Home 2018 Rank Votes MOST AWARDS RESULTS Radio Category Radio is another category in the MOST Awards that has had strong teams vigorously competing for the top spot over the years. This year was no different, with the top three separated by relatively small score margins. The winner of the radio category this year is Primedia Broadcasting, with The Media Connection and Mediamark taking second and third respectively. Another concurred: “Primedia makes an effective and efficient collaborator for creative radio solutions. They take full ownership of the projects and are open to working with other media owners.” It is significantly commendable that the Primedia Broadcasting team has overcome challenges in recent times and realigned itself to the delivery of service excellence. One media agency voter summed this up neatly by saying: “They have improved their service this year. They seem to have taken the feedback from the industry to heart and have addressed those problems head on.” WELL DONE The Alliance Media team was rated especially higher against the criterion ‘Sales Service Delivery’. One voter explained: “Alliance Media provides us with the best value and service in the business.” Another said: “Alliance Media is a strong and innovative OOH company and has an incredibly passionate team which is evident in their work.” A third added: “Alliance Media has great people who are concerned about their clients’ brands and they keep up with the ever-changing environment. Their coverage around Africa is unmatched and they have local offices making speed to market even faster.” “The out of home category has been a monster since 2009.
